John McCain took a huge gamble--picking Sarah Palin as his running mate. Babs called his selection a "cynical ploy...a transparent, irresponsible decision" and referred to Governor Palin as an "virtual unknown" who has no national experience. Even more disturbing are her references to how old John McCain is. Kind of the pot calling the kettle black. Personally, I am offended by the people who attack McCain's age. Just because someone is old, does not mean they cannot work, lead or think. The Democrats should be ashamed of using age in this manner. Aren't the democrats supposed to be the champions of everyone's civil rights, whether white, black, christian, jew, gay or straight, etc? Or is that only true if you are young? and a Democrat?
