AI has really gotten worse each year. It hit an all-time low this year with Jason Castro and Brooke White who really had little if non-existent voices. But even worse than the lack of talent was the judging. David Archuleta could sing the phone book--and Randy Jackson would have praised him. Archuleta had a few good performances, but he was monotonous, lacked originality, had an average voice, and lacked personality. Yet, the judges practically crowned him the winner before the final vote. Simon went as far as to say that Archuleta had scored a "knockout" (even though he was outsung by Cook). The only knockout turned out to be David Cook's landslide victory (he beat Archuleta by a whopping 12 million votes). Obviously , fans didn't care for the horrible judging and voted for a man, not a silly boy. BTW, why were the judges so harsh with Syesha? She actually had the best voice.
