Indeed, Barbra has just turned 66! It is unknown how she celebrated her birthday. Perhaps working on her Yentl DVD? Or her Concert DVD? or trying to convince Lord Andrew Lloyd Weber that she is Norma Desmond?

Make a video, dude, and cry your eyes out on YouTube. If you think people get uglier in 10 days I feel sorry for how you'll look tomorrow.

Although I do enjoy reading your snide catty comments regarding Barbra (from time to time) - because yes we all have faults and you my dear webmaster are obviously taken by SOMETHING with regards to Barbra - because you - like all of her fans - continually know every move she makes - so she must mean SOMETHING to you - if you let her consume even a moment of your PRECIOUS PERSONAL TIME.

That being said - it is interesting that you have not commented on her switch to Endeavor Management - this is BIG NEWS - something is comming from Streisand - something great - get ready to eat crow my friend. She is about to shatter the glass ceiling once again and break a few more DIVA records or two along the way - There is only 1 - Barbra Joan Streisand.

Welcome to the club, David. Bab's switch to Endeavor is indeed, a news moment. If you are a newbie here, you won't understand when I say I think this is a shrewd move by Emily, who will stop at nothing to promote her own selfish intersts. Here at the Babs Blog, we ruminate loving and fearfully over Em. She is a role model to some but she is a source of contention to others. We have never figured out whether her hands are actually Grandma's. But we wait and hope.

Every post here is done in complete secrecy. Away from prying eyes and gossip columnists so please feel free to share the innermost feelings on Grandma, Emily, Barbra and Richard Simmons. I only mention Richard Simmons because I am sweating to the oldies right now and I'm about to spritz my salad with some of his great dressing.

Hi David. Welcome. This board (bored?) hasn't been very busy lately I guess because Barbra hasn't been very busy. Likewise, Emily has not been heard from either. I suspect they are working hard on a new movie or some project together. I hear it's Mame - Barbra will be the lead (of course) and Em will play Vera. I also understand they are in talks with Mariah to play Mother Burnside. Barbra has asked for a new take on Beau - she wants him much younger and has approached Justin Timberlake. What a cast! My personal oppinion is that Justin will be another in a long line of inappropriate leading men - think of Walter Matthau, Yves Montand, George W Bush, Kris Kristofferson, Nick Nolte and of course Michael Serrazin. She sure knows how to pick em! (sorry Em).

Barbra has a new management company? That's news to me. Endeavor? Never heard of it. I thought the best management company was the one she had before.

After listening to "The Movie Album" and "Guilty Pleasures," I think Endeavor must specialize in careers gone wrong.
