In a less than surprising news, the low-key Diva has announced she will not attend Israel's 60th Anniversary Celebration. What did raise an eyebrow was her publicist blaming scheduling conflicts or something to that effect. Excuse me? I had no idea she had anything on her schedule or that she has had anything on her schedule since her tour ended last year. The mystery has prompted some to speculate that Babs is furious that President Bush was also invited and that she refuses to share a stage with him. Whatever the reason, she will not be there.
