Oh the pain. Sanjaya was ousted today on American Idol in a voting that made little to no sense. The two worst of the week (Phil and Chris) placed in the top 4, while Laskisha and Blake Lewis joined Sanjaya in the bottom three. Sangina was in tears before the final announcement. He knew it was coming and it was hard to know that the dream was over and that people really wanted him gone. Still, he was never a frontrunner. As for Lakisha and Blake, it was also hard. Both were frontrunners and now are nearing the bottom. Lakisha has been on a spiral downward since week one. She did her best weeks ago and each week since has done a little or a lot worse. Blake is just not the greatest singer, but that's not his real problem. His femininity has been creeping through in his interviews. America likes butch men, not princesses.
