April 6, 2007--No Smile for Gina

As I predicted, Gina Glocksen was booted off American Idol due to the very poor choice of "Smile" (which Streisand performed on her forgettable The Movie Album). And of course, Sangina survives yet another week. This is fab--next week is Latin week and will feature the one and the only Jennifer Lopez. The curvaceous beauty will be mentoring the final contestants. I really hope Sanjaya does "Waiting for Tonight". As for Blake, he should do "Jenny from the Block". ;)

Jennifer Lopez? Who's that? I've never heard of her. Is she any relation to Carlos Lopez? I went to high school with him. I think Sanjinia should sing Emily when Barbra is on that show.

Mariah is a pig. I hate her. Ever since I saw her Christmas album photo with the tight-fitting Santa suit I knew she was trouble. Why must she show her boobs on every album cover?

And another thing about Mariah. I saw a pic of her in Aspen, Colorado, for a ski trip. Her ski suite was unzipped to show maximum cleavage. That's a sight I could do without. Does she not know the meaning of understatement? No wonder she had a nervous breakdown. Gay men are a huge part of her audience and she needs to know that her voice is all we care about.
