As I approach 40
Gray starts to show
Recovery starts to slow
Only the car is sporty
My face remains so young
My mind ever so sharp
Love bursts from my heart
Oh, but weakness in my lungs
I give even more
But take even less
To clean this worldly mess
The mess I abhor
I have precious few worldly riches
Two sisters like the Stygian Witches
My ancient brothers away they keep
Faithful cats guard my sleep
If art captured my soul
The treasures it would behold
The virtue and the glow
As pure as arctic snow
Hate my facial youth
Hate my childlike mind
It will only keep you blind
To the power of my truth

As our guest opened the door to leave, in comes Coco, the poodle mutt from down the hall. Coco is all cheerful, but has no manners. She attacked our toy rat, ate our food from our dish and kept running around the island. Alex stood guard, flashing his teeth, hissing and fluffing his tail. Teddy stayed back on her condo. Coco’s owner came in to help, but to no avail. Finally, Louis pointed his finger and yelled, “Coco, that way!” And Coco ran out the door. Of course, Coco’s owner had to rip a mouse out of Coco’s mouth and throw it back in. The rat and mouse are just lying in the living room. We haven’t touched them since this ordeal.

Hi:
Welcome to Alex’s and Teddy’s blog. Alex is the mask and mantle; Teddy is the Nubian princess. We are just starting our web adventures and hope they will be fun. Teddy is happy because she doesn’t have to go to the vet today. She is sad however, because her father Louis has a back injury; hence, why he can’t take her to the vet.
